This is a high-profile role for the UK and Ireland Fuel Distributors Association (UKIFDA), the trade association for the liquid fuels distribution industry across the UK and Ireland.
An inspiring leader, with outstanding communication skills, you will drive a culture of collaboration and engagement to deliver our strategy and future vision to steer the transition to renewable fuels in future energy policy in both the UK and Ireland.
In order to fulfil this role, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic candidate. Whether a serving CEO, or you are looking for a career step, the ideal candidate will have experience or a strong working knowledge within the renewable sector and a good understanding of the UK fuel distribution industry, operating and influencing at government level with established industry and government contacts and relationships.
You will also have experience of delivering sustainable business performance, transformational change with the ability to make things happen.
You will be a visible and motivating leader to a small team of four and this is a unique opportunity to have an important and positive impact on the off-grid home heating, road fuels and commercial markets as the industry transitions successfully towards net zero, so some knowledge of these markets is also desirable.
