UKIFDA Forum Policies

Effective 20 March 2020

A core value of UKIFDA is to put our members first. The Policies below ensure that the conversations taking place each day on our forum help our members to be more productive and successful and are free of inappropriate and unwanted content or behavior. These policies, which we continue to develop, provide guidance and rules for the use of the forum.

We ask every member using the forum to act responsibly. If you see something that you believe may violate our policies, please report it to us at info@ukifda.org. This includes whether it appears in profiles, posts, comments, conversations, or anywhere else. These reports help us identify and prevent abuse and misbehavior. Please use the reporting tools responsibly and only for their intended purposes.

Whilst discussions can cover matters of interest to our industry, we cannot and you must not discuss or exchange sensitive commercial information or enter into any discussions which could in any way be in breach of Competition Law whether in relation to price or otherwise.  If at any time you believe that any discussion, comment or post is in breach of Competition Law, please immediately notify us at info@ukifda.org. We reserve the right to close down or suspend the Forum at any time if we have any reason to believe that any use of the Forum has given or could give rise to any infringement of Competition Law. A violation of these policies may result in us taking enforcement actions.  We reserve the right to limit the visibility of certain content, remove content from our platform, or even restrict a member’s right to use the forum in the event of severe or repeated offenses. We will inform you of any action that we decide to take against you.  If you believe action taken on your content or your account was in error, you can submit a request to appeal your case. Thank you for using the forum. Together we can keep our platform a safe, trusted and professional place from which everyone can derive value.
