UKIFDA is pleased to announce that John Parrott MBE will be the guest speaker at the UKIFDA Expo & Conference 2026 Dinner, taking place during this year’s event in Liverpool on 15–16 April 2026.
The dinner, sponsored by Prema, will be held at the end of the first day on the Terrace at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, with great views overlooking the river – a standout setting for an evening of conversation, networking and celebration.
A dominant force in snooker through the late 1980s and 1990s, he spent 14 seasons inside the world’s top 16, reached world No. 2, and won nine ranking titles, including the rare 1991 double of the World Snooker Championship and the UK Championship.
Since retiring from full-time competition in 2010, he has become a familiar BBC Sport commentator, a long-standing team captain on A Question of Sport, and a regular contributor to the BBC’s horse racing coverage at major events such as the Grand National, Royal Ascot and the Derby.
During the dinner, John will also present the Young Person of the Year Award, adding an extra highlight to what promises to be a memorable evening.
Dinner places can be secured by contacting Dawn Shakespeare at ds@ukifda.org.
