UKIFDA Statement on SEHOS Extension

UKIFDA welcomes the Scottish Government’s extension of the Scottish Emergency Heating Oil Scheme (SEHOS) into the winter period.

With heating oil prices remaining volatile, this continued financial support is an important measure for low-income households experiencing fuel hardship.

We will continue working closely with the Scottish Government to help ensure off-grid households can access effective and timely support.

Advice Direct Scotland (ADS) is managing the scheme and payments to fuel distributors on behalf of eligible customers who can apply here .
