With just under one month to go till the doors open the Whova event app is available for use. Designed to help delegates, exhibitors and sponsors make the most of the event, the app allows and encourages attendee engagement, networking and participation.
Ken Cronin, UKIFDA Chief Executive, recommends pre-registered attendees to download the app and get planning in advance: “At last year’s event, the app got great feedback and will be an invaluable way to stay abreast of this year’s content rich event.”
Attendees can see the event schedule and receive announcements made via the app, including any changes or updates on the day. Apart from viewing the Conference Schedule, including who is speaking and their bio, you can also see who is exhibiting and where they’re located.
Exhibitors and sponsors can be found on the app where each one has a virtual ‘Booth’. This features product and service launches, videos and streams, downloadable brochures and handouts, promotional offers and contact details for networking opportunities.
Use the app to make introductions, arrange meet-ups ahead of the event and share and scan digital business cards as well as documents and articles. Use it to connect with attendees and boost interest via social media.
The UKIFDA Show & Conference is the most important collective event of the calendar for anyone involved in the liquid fuel distribution industry, whether it’s to discuss the next innovation in driver technology, advice on insurance, legal affairs and legislation or learning about the latest in renewable liquid fuels.
