The UK and Ireland Fuel Distributors Association (UKIFDA) confirms the nominations are now open for the Green Award 2025.
Sponsored by Oilshield, the Green Award recognises businesses and organisations making significant strides toward a decarbonised future.
Enhancing a company’s reputation, an award like this also signals a commitment to environmental efforts to colleagues, consumers and the community.
Here, Ken Cronin, CEO of UKIFDA, describes the type of projects the judges are interested in, commenting: “Has your company reduced carbon emissions or waste? Maybe you have developed environmental protection policies or made progress in promoting renewable fuels and sustainable practices.
“These are the kinds of initiatives we’re looking to highlight. However, your entry could represent something different. This is your opportunity to showcase your commitment to a greener world.”
This Green Award is open to both UKIFDA members and non-member companies; however, a nomination for a non-member must be submitted by a member company.
