Alternative Dispute Resolution

All members of UKIFDA adhere to a Code of Practice and Consumer Charter.

The Code of Practice and Consumer Charter give clear guidelines for the customer complaints process. They also detail the UKIFDA Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme for consumers who are unable to resolve their complaints directly with the company from which they made their purchase.

UKIFDA is a corporate member of UtilitiesADR, which means that all distributor members of UKIFDA are automatically enrolled in UtilitiesADR as well.

The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service is offered through Consumer Disputes Resolution Ltd, an independent not-for-profit organisation specialising in resolving consumer and retailer disputes.

UKIFDA distributor members can access free legal advice from the Consumer Dispute Resolution Limited’s team of solicitors and barristers.
