One of the prime roles of UKIFDA is to encourage self-regulation of our industry through raised standards and best practice. To help achieve that, we offer a range of training to meet regulatory requirements (such as CPC and ADR), voluntary codes (such as PDP) and to disseminate best practice and improve operator competence through Depot Manager training and ADR awareness, for example.
Our ADR, CPC and PDP courses have been streamlined so that an ADR refresher course will also qualify a driver, in most cases, for their CPC and PDP classroom training for that year. Most UKIFDA CPC courses also include a driver’s PDP annual refresher requirement for that training year, saving you time and money.
PDP practical training can also be provided directly, and we’re able to assess up to four drivers in a day or member companies can register their own driver assessors either directly with SQA or via UKIFDA.
We also provide a range of other industry training, including Management CPC Courses, First Aid training, ADR awareness, Depot Manager and Depot Supervisor courses and Permit to Work.
We can even construct bespoke training courses to suit your particular needs – simply contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
UKIFDA are members of the National Dangerous Goods Training Consortium.
