In 2010, Amy won Britain’s first solo Winter Olympics gold medal for 30 years with victory in the Women’s Skeleton event, travelling at 92 mph in 54 seconds, and the first gold by a British woman in 58 years.
And there’s more, following her Olympic success, Amy also received an MBE, has been awarded the Freedom of Bath and won BBC Sports Personality of the Year, to name just a few of the achievements she’ll be sharing.
The UKIFDA Show Dinner, sponsored by Mabanaft, is taking place on 10th May 2023 in The Premier Lounge at the CBS Arena after the UKIFDA Show and Conference.
Pre-dinner drinks will be served with fabulous live background music and the opportunity to mingle. Amy’s after dinner speech will follow a delicious three-course meal, and she will also present the Young Person award to bring the event to a close.
Ken Cronin, UKIFDA’s Chief Executive, commented: “We’re so pleased Amy has agreed to talk at this year’s event. She is a passionate speaker and has much to share with the industry.”
Dawn Shakespeare, UKIFDA’s membership and events manager, advises those wishing to attend to book now. To secure your Dinner tickets, which are £130 per person, please get in touch with Dawn at ds@ukifda.org, and to book your delegate tickets for the Show and Conference, please click here.
