One of the most popular annual UKIFDA EXPO awards, the Driver of the Year Award recognises and rewards the very best of the industry’s tanker driving talent.
The winner will be announced at the popular UKIFDA Expo Dinner, which takes place on 10 April 2024 at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre. This evening event rounds off the UKIFDA EXPO & Conference 2024 taking place on 10-11 April 2024.
UKIFDA CEO Ken Cronin talks through what the assessment team is looking for: “This is where we get to celebrate the hardworking drivers who make a difference in our communities and give recognition to those who go above and beyond the call of duty.
“Has one of your drivers helped a customer or colleague in need, shown true professionalism in a challenging situation or made a positive impact in terms of best practice, efficiency or brilliant customer care – tell us about them. Spread the word within your business and encourage others to nominate deserving drivers too!”
This is the 23rd year that OAMPS, a specialist adviser to the hazardous fuels and environmental sectors, has sponsored this prestigious award.
Nominations are open until 29 February 2024. Shortlists will be revealed in the New Year, and the award ceremony will form part of the UKIFDA Expo Dinner, sponsored by Mabanaft. This takes place on the evening of 10 April 2024 at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre and will round off the first day of the UKIFDA EXPO & Conference 2024.
